    Bakelite Catalin rods

    Genuine American Bakelite round rods from the closed Brooklyn, N.Y. factory.  These phenolic resin plastics were made in an amazing range of colors, shapes, and patterns. We have solid and marbled, opaque and translucent, and nearly clear (Prystal) Bakelite rods that make excellent material for jewelry, buttons, and rosary or faturan beads. All test positive with simichrome polish.
